Lord Undo Me

Undo Me by Jennifer Knapp Papa I think I messed up again was it something I did? Was it something I said? I don't mean to do you wrong it's just this way of human nature! Sister I know I let you down. I can tell by the fact you're never comin round. You don't have to say a thing.. I can tell by your eyes exactly what you mean. That it's time to get down on my knees and pray. Lord undo me put away this flesh and bone til you own this spirit threw me. Lord undo me. Mama I know I made you cry, but I never meant to hurt ya. I never meant to lie. While the world shook it's head in shame I let you take the blame. Brother I know you labored so hard to please. But, I cut you down and I left you on your knees... well I know it must be... time to get down on my knees and pray. Lord undo me put away this flesh and bone til you own this spirit threw me. Lord ... I am wanting, needing, guilty & greedy. Unrighteous, unholy undo me. Abba father you must wonder why more time than Peter I have denied. Three nails and a cross to prove I owe my Life eternally to you! it's time to get down on my knees and pray. Lord undo me put away this flesh and bone til you own this spirit threw me. Lord undo me. This Song covers it all doesn't it. Lisa

Right Under Your Nose

It may be God's will in one’s life to travel far and bring the gospel to others or just have the blessed opportunity to see more of this world He created. It may not. It may be that you or I will never leave the little realm we have been placed in. Our travels might not even take us further than our own province (state), our own city, or our own backyard. All of us are at times dissatisfied with the life God has ordained for us. We mistake the mysteries around us for common things; we take things for granted. We neglect the true mysteries and search for joy elsewhere. This is the fatal mistake many people make. We are to be contented whatever state we are in. Whatever circumstances surround us. There is no joy in constantly wanting more than we have. Look around yourself. Mysteries surround us. See the newborn babe suck at his mothers breast, see the seed bring forth a flower, a fruit. See the wind tickle the leaves of the tree. See the clouds turn pink in the sunset. See the rainbow after a storm. There are so many things that surround each one of us: for us to explore, for us to wonder at, to be amazed with and to find joy in. The joy we so desire is never far from us. It is "right under your nose". It is in Him, who created all things. Find your joy in Him and your life will be filled with mystery and contentment. "For I would not brethren that you would be ignorant of this mystery" (Romans 11:25). "Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables; that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them "(Mark 4:11 - 12). "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world into our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him" (I Corinthians 2:7). The greatest mystery of all is that God has revealed Himself to those He loves, He has chosen us from before creation and He gave His only son to die for our sin. "That he would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3: 16 - 19) Lisa Paarup
